We have been in cooperation with the wooden horse manufacturer Funny Horses for several years and offer you many accessories for the wooden horses. With halters, saddles and the like, playing with the Funny Horses is even more fun.

Funny Horses are handmade wooden horses with cuddly fur and soft manes, developed by Christiane and Ulrich Markfort and sold since 2001. Funny Horses are 100 percent Made in Germany: they are made from local wood in a German factory in Warendorf. Part of the woodwork is done by an integrative institution.

The idea for the Funny Horses came from company founder Ulrich Markfort: His daughter wanted a wooden horse with fur and mane for her birthday. Because such a horse was not available for sale, he had to build one himself. This birthday horse laid the foundation for Funny Horses more than 20 years ago and now the wooden horses are at home in many children's rooms, gardens, day-care centres and therapeutic facilities, inviting them to play and love. Whether vaulting, riding, grooming or cuddling: playing with the Funny Horses never gets boring.

Our Funny Horses collection, which we have developed exclusively for the cute wooden horses in cooperation with Funny Horses, provides even more fun with the wooden horses: In addition to halters and lead ropes, you will find bridles, saddles, mane and tail clips and even boots. This makes playing with the Funny Horses even more fun and feels like a real holiday on the horse farm.

The special thing about our Funny Horses collection is that the products are not only suitable for the wooden horses to play with: Some parts, for example the Funny Horses halter or the saddle not only fit the Funny Horses, but can also be used for Shettys. So the play horse at home can wear the same outfit as the Shetland pony in the riding school and small children can already get familiar with the feeling of sitting in a real saddle on the wooden horse and even put it on their own Shetty later. The real horse accessories provide a realistic riding and horse feeling in the four walls at home or in your own garden.

But our wooden horse accessories not only provide play fun in the children's room: the wooden horses are also used for therapeutic riding because motor skills, balance, dexterity and imagination are promoted while playing and riding. Funny Horses has been a cooperation partner of the German Curatorship for Therapeutic Riding since 2007 and a project partner of the association "Pferde für unsere Kinder e.V." since 2015. Our wooden horse accessories are also popular here, because putting on a halter, bridle and saddle promotes fine motor skills, among other things.
